Fireglow 'Vigour' BOILER has a 20kW maximum output and is constructed from thick, solid, 'Virgin' cast iron -( not from remelted scrap as many, even expensive stoves are), with a heavy duty steel water jacket.
Fireglow Stoves have great control, with two sets of vents, so can be operated slowly for slow smouldering fires overnight or with the simple slide of a lever, will open up, with maximum heat output and roaring flames.
Fireglow 'Vigour' BOILER has a heavy duty wraparound 4-sided boiler water jacket surrounding the grate area to the two sides, rear and above the burn area for maximum water heating efficiency.
Inside is an ashpan and handle for non-messy cleaning out and is ready assembled, requiring just the legs to be bolted on at home.
The grate has a useful external riddling mechanism enabling easy clearing of ash from the grate.
The boiler draws approximately two thirds of the total heat available, so at full capacity approximately 13kW of power will go to the water/ heating system and about 7kW direct to the room.
For a house with average insulation, the stove will heat upto a maximum 280cubic metres.
Boiler stoves should not be fitted into sealed pressurised systems and need to be fitted into traditional type open vented systems.
On the rear of the stove there are 4x 1inch BSP connections for hot water/ central heating circuits.
